Alice and Alexa invite you to gather in a traditional flint barn for a day of cacao ceremony, meditation and wax carving.
Autumn is a time to gather in all that has grown, lived and become. A time to appreciate where we have been, what we have learnt, and everything that makes us who we are.
We will begin with a cacao ceremony, followed by a guided equinox meditation to help you connect with your own experience and discover a symbol for the season ahead.
You will then carve your symbol into wax, ready to be cast into a pendant you can wear and treasure.
Our hope is that you leave feeling more connected to who you already are, with an appreciation of all you have been, done, seen, created and lived through. Every part gathered, and a symbol that holds it, on its way to becoming something you can wear.

THE DAY
We begin with cacao ceremony and guided meditation, followed by time to create your symbol. In the afternoon, Alice will guide you through carving it into wax.
There will be homemade snacks and beverages, conversation and time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the South Downs.
No experience is needed, and the small group allows time for individual guidance.
Alice Eden
Alice is a jewellery designer and maker with over 20 years of experience. From her flint barn studio in Litlington, she teaches the ancient art of lost-wax casting, guiding people through carving their own designs in wax before they are cast and finished in metal.
Alexa de Castilho
Alexa is a mentor and Compassionate Inquiry practitioner whose work brings together self-awareness, somatic practice, meditation and creativity. She will guide the cacao ceremony and equinox meditation, helping you turn inwards, reflect on your experiences and discover a symbol that holds personal meaning for you.
Together, Alice and Alexa bring soul into form, moving from inner exploration to creating something you can hold and wear.
YOUR TALISMAN
Your carving will be cast in recycled brass, finished and polished into a pendant. Silver and gold are available for an additional charge.
Your finished talisman will be ready for collection or posting within three working weeks after the class.
